The one-Friday-a month DANCE FLIGHT program lets you learn classic dance styles in two-hour classes where the first hour is instruction, and the second is a candle-lit chance to practice what you've learned with music, friends, and refreshments!
CHARLES BALLARD is Salsa instructor originally from Brooklyn, NY. Charles has danced Salsa for the past eleven years and has studied with Darin Price (Rochester), Tumay Tunar (Philly), Kieke Lopez (Bronx), Francis Hare (Rochester) and Kerry Vaughn (Syracuse).
The beginning Salsa class will include learning the basic Salsa rhythm and steps, the right turn, cross body lead, and how to lead and follow. The lesson will be followed by time for open dancing for practice and fun. Partner pairs of students are welcome, as are those without partners!
